It's Not All Doom and Gloom

In some ways I'm not too bothered about yesterday. It sometimes takes disaster for change to happen, and we're close to that now. Another defeat or two and we can start preparing for next season.

It makes those tough decisions (Silva, Yaya, Zab) a whole lot easier.
Zab, Silva are quality players which we would be mad to discard. Next you will be saying that the entire team including Aguero needs to be sold.

We will finish 8th and lose 4 or 5 -1 to PSG.

Very poor side but injuries havent helped.
Other teams have got physically fitter and stronger whilst we've been swanning around the world on pre-season tours

The management of this club is antiquated and complacent

not until the PSG thrashing, then they might relieve him of his duties and let kiddo have a few games

Will be too late by then, we will already have dropped points away to Bournemouth and at home to West Brom.

The next two fixtures would then be Cheslea Away and Newcastle Away (scrapping for their lives)

I think we have let Pellegrini do enough damage already, now is the time to free ourselves before he destroys the club further!

Everything has been set up for Peps arrival which was agreed 3 years ago so I understand a dip in desire from the players, however this much of a dip is going to cost us CL football and shouldn't have been allowed.

The upside is come July we are about to enter the best Era any City fan has ever known.

No, I said there were decisions to be made over some of the older players. Not advocating getting rid of them, thought Silva was good yesterday and I'm a big Zab fan. But are they good enough to be first choice for the level we want to play at? Pep might disagree.

Yes they are. Zabaleta has gone backwards a bit but he has had bad injuries. Silva is suffering in a midfield that is very poor. He's on his own whereas the midfield used to be a proper unit with movement and quick passing.

Unfortunately it is all doom and gloom, for this season anyway

The players are totally lacking in confidence and this is most evident in front of goal where any chances are being snatched at and therefore missed.

This is a management issue and so the responsibility is firmly at Pellegrini's door. It is his responsibility to prepare the players to play and he is clearly failing.

If he remains I cannot see any improvement in our form and we will definitely slide down the table.

I think we'll still make the top 4. We need a powerful midfielder like Imbula, the player Stoke bought in January.

I don't know how Pellegrini can carry on selecting Demichelis and Toure. The results are predictable every time we play. Demichelis is too slow and Toure just trots around - of course that has consequences. And it affects the play of other players too

I can't see us winning another game this season - we look like a team that is going down! In out last 4 games we've only scored v Aston Villa.

We are shite!!!
