If the rags do get Hazard then we should go for Kagawa. Have watched quite a bit of Dortmund having had friends live there and of course players like Goetze etc and for the price he is available at + the money he could bring in as well as how good of a player he is it is a no brainer!

Kagawa operates best in the same areas Nasri and Silva do. We need a plan B. A winger.

Yeh i know he does but that doesn't mean he can't do a job out wide.
I understand we need a plan b, if you read any of my previous posts i have lauded the potential signings of Cerci etc because of this. Is Hazard really a winger though?

I don't watch Ligue 1 and YouTube is difficult because it just shows goals and assists!

Either way i trust Mancini and if we don't end up signing him then we move on.

Hazard is almost like for like with Alexis Sanchez is a lot of areas. Pace, skill and ability. The poster above said that Hazard is as much of a winger as Silva is and that is just wrong. If need be Hazard can whip 5-10 accurate crosses in a match. He has pace to burn a defender in ways Silva looks to dancer through them.

Lille play Hazard in a free role. Why? Because he's the best player on the team and they need him to be everywhere. In Mancini's rovering front 4-5 Hazard offers more ability out wide. Our fullbacks won't always have to crash so deep into the box.

Barcelona discovered they had an issue when they needed to shift Messi inside. Sure he can score 72 goals but when push comes to shove I bet they would have taken 40 goals and Messi out wide. Having a player who can operate on an island and shoot with his strong foot is vital to being able to break down the Sunderlands and Stokes of the world. Kagawa is no faster than Nasri.

Kagawa is a great option but even Silva can "do a job" out wide. We need someone who can thrive on 1 v 1 opportunities. It creates so much more space when said player is double teamed or tripled on the flanks.

Hazard is as much as a winger Silva is.

Except Hazard is much quicker and is really tricky which are essential in a top-class winger. We need someone like Hazard in this squad, Silva and Samir are great players but god-given speed is not one of their attributes it is for Hazard.

What we want and what we will get are two different things, entirely.

Personally, much as I think he is a wonderful player, we can do better long-term.

I'm still confident Arsenal will drag them on far too long for our liking and Cavani or Falcao will come to the fore, as they should.

I'd rather one of those two but I wouldn't complain about getting RvP. Cavani is my first choice.

And also mine. Gives us a real physical threat and still wanting to prove himself.

and me, desperate for cavani.

Is it possible that it's Marwood and Vieira pushing for van Persie with Mancini wanting Cavani? This "transfer committee" thing always makes me uneasy, especially with Brian "Let's sign Jordan Henderson" Marwood as one of the key decision makers.
