I understand it when people scout players in 2nd divisions and youth levels, but to scout some well known players like ( Javi Martinez, Munian or Loriente ) does not make sense to me.

They are well known and the judgement should be taken long time ago.

Absolutely, however there is no BIGGER occasion than a cup final. This is when players show what they really have in the locker. A few went missing against Athletico in the UEFA cup final, let's see how they get on tonight. But yeah, its most likely done and dusted and tonights a formality unless injuries or poor performance. Falcoa scored some beauts in a final, Llorente didn't. Falcoa imo is a big game player. Just my take. Hazard scores hatrick on final game. Stuff like that.

Scouting is not the only thing, don't they go into all sorts of things like what the player is like as a person, what he likes dislikes and whether he would fit in with the group of players we have personality wise. I thought they had huge dosiers on all players not just their ability as a footballer. Only thing is who compiled the dosier on Mario!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
