Not going to get giddy yet but Muller would be an awesome signing if we can make it happen.

As has been said though, it's difficult to get these swap deals to materialise.

Why ?

If one deal is dependant on money from the other it's just like doing a transfer in & a transfer out but doing it with one club rather than two. Each player still has to agree terms & each club agree a fee however it's done.

If however we don't need the money from Dzeko, we could just put a bid in for Muller anyway.

He is spending more time on the bench which is making him consider his options. With Bayern interested in signing Edin why can't we do a deal with them for Muller?

The only problem with a Muller deal is that Germany will be in the Euro's right till near the end. Which makes this a very slow starting transfer

Euros are a weak shorter than the WC so from the day after the final there's still 6 weeks until the season starts. Plenty of time ahead to sort things out.

I know it could be sorted deals like this are normally a 2 week affair and Bayern and City could do leg work before. Just like to see them in early on the training pitch and integrating with the team. He would shine with us. I want to get all giddy but its hard to see it happening

He'd still have a 3-week holiday after the Euros and miss the beginning of pre-season (like a big chunk of our squad) anyway
