There is some truth in this, albeit, our 'fair' price still puts us in a very small bracket of teams contesting the talent pool.

The club have never been more attractive, and we will discover it soon enough.

Just not attractive enough for Hazard and now possibly Martinez. Looks like we've still a bit to do and go before top players automatically consider City as a top destination. That said I know we'll still land a bit of quality so I'm not too disheartened (yet!).

My understanding was City pulled out of the Hazard deal due to silly demands & a £6m fee to the agent!

The agents fee is just a no-no. But if the guy really wanted to come to City because of wh we were he'd have made it work financially. The thing is we're not big enough (yet) that players fall over themselves to get here like say Barca or Madrid. Like I said we have some way to go but I ain't worried as we'll get there.

He's Italian, no?

He reads and hears the Italian press, and simply asking on where De Rossi stands currently with Roma.

Albeit, Mancio is probably taking the day off congratulating himself Joe Hart conceded a soft goal!!

no rumors here about de rossi.

and i was very sorry for hart yesterday , i like the guy , its not his fault if he is overhyped by the english media.

And i suppose Buffon hasn't been overhyped by the Italian media for the last 10 years? Joe is the best keeper in the world, End of story.

Best in England and possibly will be best in the world. Not there yet.

Nasri told his agent to shut up and let me sign

Speaking of Buffon, has he confirmed he isn't signing for us yet?

If you're trying to compare us to Barca or Real then we've no chance, on field then yeh but where would you rather live? In the beautiful Catalonian sunshine with fit woman walking around in bakini tops & a beach on your doorstep, the amazing City that's Madrid with its culture/shops & again fit woman. Or Manchester where it pisses down & first sign of sun the locals empty the supermarkets of coal, burgers, & disposable BBQ's?
He went Chelsea purely because they're desperate enough to guarantee him a starting place, the number 10 shirt & pay his daft agent the £6m he was after. It's nothing to do with Chelsea being a bigger draw, we are current champions & have the best squad in English football.

I love Hart and there's no 'keeper in the world I'd rather have, despite there being keepers who are better than him. He's in the top 5 in the world but will only get better.

He is really overhyped by our media though, it's like they expect him to save everything, and when he doesn't everyone's in a state of shock.

I guess this is what it must be like for rags watching their players play for England, I don't like it to be honest, they set him up to fall a la yesterday v France.

Gerrard and Parker were more to blame for the Nasri goal they were so deep and Hart saw the ball really late. When you have your to CM playing as CB your just inviting pressure.
