So Holland could still progress if in the next games GER beat DEN and HOL beat POR by 3!

No... Holland lost against Denmark, they'll have no points if they lose tonight, and will therefore be out.

If Denmark lost to Germany and Holland beat Portugal, they could still qualify, no?

My take on the info from TH. Marquee player(s) have already signed and would have been announced before end of season ticket renewals IF they weren't going as well as expected.

Great season ticket sales mean the announcement will be today/tomorrow after renewals close.

my take, because I want us to spend lots of money on players that aren't RVP, is that the TV Deal has taken the pressure off and we're going to open up the purse strings.

I've just negotiated my Sky HD tv totally free for 6 months, only pay £12.85 for phone & £7.50 for my Internet :0)

How have you managed that fella?

Tbf they rang me as I'd cancelled my subscription a few weeks ago due to them not offering me a deal. They rang me today about 3pm & just offered it to me so said yeh go then. Free sky for 6months inc my HD so can't complain

It'd end in tears, he'd find no space and contributes nothing else besides goals - the lack of space in our system would cripple him far worse than Dzeko. Only technically outstanding forwards will be great successes in our system IMO, Gomez is typically a pure poacher who spends most of his time in the box, and unless we alter our style poachers are not going to flourish for us. Lots of strikers who fit our system better. Gomez for the scum or Spurs though could be lethal.

Gomez is a mystery to me.

Every time I've seen him, for the majority of the game he's awful but he ALWAYS seems to score.

Except for the CL final, he was just truly awful then.
