Nah, Falcao is by no means a house hold name, while it would no doubt be very impressive and I would love him in the team it would hardly be like a bomb going off when most people have never heard of him.

Hope the Huntelaar thing is totally wrong - i just don't see what he would offer a prem club - so much so i hope the rags sign him.

Maybe so, but most people I speak to about him have never heard of him, a house hold name is a name every house hold has heard of! he's just not a house hold name star yet, Although I think that will change soon enough.

That takes nothing away from him being an amazing player, just means that he's not a "Kaboom"/"Shockwaves" signing in terms of media hype like Messi/Ronaldo/Rooney/Iniesta etc etc would cause.

Its easy to say, I've mentioned him to at least 8/9 footie fans. from mad die hard season ticket level to armchair and casual level. NONE of them had heard of him.

Just because we have heard of him it doesn't mean others have.

The only bomb I can think of is Real Madrid trying to sign David Silva and the constant newspaper reports on the speculation. We seem to be more in control, and like I said last night we dealt with AC Milan when they were trying to take the piss with Tevez.
