Clear run at M'Vila if we want him, his strop at the Euros seems to have put Wenger off. Sounds like he'd fit in here, I think nearly everyone in our squad has had at least one strop when being taken off, even Barry once. :D

If you think De Jong is average then you are one of the following:

A) About 11 years old and play football manager.
B) Never been to a city game.

Or are you both?

De Jong is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and a top bloke.

Pay him what he wants as he is integral to our squad.
Don't play football manager and I've had a season ticket for 15 years now so it's fair to say I've been to a city game. Yes the united and Newcastle games he was important. Barry reads the game very well and I think can break the play up better than de Jong at the moment. If we want to free yaya up then a de Rossi/martinez type player would be best suited. Not a player that passes side ways with 5 yard passes.

you need to look again, de jong was instrumental in the goals against Newcastle away and the last game against QPR. most of the time he is the defensive cover that allows the flair players to do their job.

DJ is an excellent footballer anybody that says anyting else does not watch much football, however we need to have a more rounded player to partner Yaya and certainly a Barry / Combo which happened at QPR and may happen if Yaya goes to the ACON is a big issue

Would a De Rossi improve the team of course he would any any idiot would see that a Yaya / De Rossi pairing would be better than a Yaya and DJ / Barry, we need a more rounded player to partner Yaya and one whom can play a similar role when Yaya is not there - neither DJ nor Barry can

Unfortunately DJ does not seem to want to sign a new contract, he has one year left on a contract and must not be allowed to leave for fook all next season - he is worth money certainly more than Barry and in terms of which player does Mancini prefer to partner Yaya clearly it is Barry and personally i think we play more fluid football with Barry in the team as i think his range of passing is greater

Clearly DJ can pass the ball but he is a professional footballer and an international footballer the least i would expect from him is a few stand out passes in a season

For me the QPR game sums up the reason why either Barry or DJ has to go, i honestly dont think that had Yaya been on the pitch QPR would not have succeeded in scoring one goal let alone two and for the reasons i said above then sadly very sadly DJ must go

Great player and at that price he'd be a snip. PSG will probably buy him though knowing them.
