i hope tevez stays and i think it will be likely. my personal opinion is that european clubs aren t throwing the massive cash and wages about now, add to that tevez has his history of tantrums......he is a big headache and could only really be happy and secure in south america ( who could never afford him!)

so unless someone comes in with a good swap that suits RM, i think he stays.

A good swap like...

Sniejder
Pato
Sahin
Modric
Do you think Mancini could get him going again? I know he was injured last season but he's really not progressed over the last 2 years IMO.

Great News! Hopefully bluebird1 is watching up there!

Met both Bluebird and Bluebird1 (cant remember which one is which) when they were in my local pub sorting out tickets for a bluemoon party a couple of years ago. Both cracking girls.

Also met one of them when they modelled the new home kit about 7 years ago,my daughter was also modelling it.

What the hell has happened and to who

Just a few examples of big games.

Goalscorer Carlos Tevez revels in Manchester derby win

Goalscorer Carlos Tevez saluted Manchester City's fans after his double saw off neighbours United in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final.

Manchester City ended Chelsea's flawless start to the Premier League season as Carlos Tevez's second-half solo goal settled a tense encounter at Eastlands.

Chelsea 2-4 Manchester City: Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy lead Wayne Bridge-inspired mauling
Stamford Bridge hearts broken as City pile on misery for Terry et al...

And last season.

Carlos Tevez came out of exile to create Samir Nasri's late winner as Manchester City ensured they closed back in on leaders Manchester United at the top of the Premier League.

He came from the bench to remind City what they had been missing - and what he had missed in his absence - as City turned the game around to secure a vital victory to reduce the gap to a single point and ensure their destiny remains in their own hands, with United still to visit The Etihad in April.

he also scored in a champions league final penalty shootout

He has played plenty of good games, but that doesnt address my point.

When the championship or indeed the FA-cup was being decided Tevez didnt perform in the deciding games, neither did he contribute anything when the race for fourth was lost.

In your squad you need champions, the players who er big game players and Tevez have never been a big game player.

In the games where our trophies were won it was players like Yaya and Kompany who stepped up not Tevez.

I saw him play against Barcelona in the group stage of the Champions League last season and he scored a wonderful goal so he still has it despite his injuries. Mancini must know a lot more about him than us and if he thinks he's worth it i'm in.

I remember us going for Terry when Hughes was our manager; something was written about our owners wanting the England captain when the next world cup was due. I don't know if that was true but maybe City players having prominance from the big nations reflects well on Abu Dhabi. Now Pato isn't Brazil's captain but could he figure highly for Brazil at the next world cup? Perhaps more chance than Tevez has. Could be a signing to suit everyone.

Spurs close in on £6m Adebayor as they prepare to make striker highest earner in club's history

By Sportsmail Reporter

Emmanuel Adebayor is close to sealing a £6million permanent move to Tottenham, with a contract that would make him the best paid player in the club's history.

It is believed he will sign a three-year deal worth in the region of £115,000-per-week - plus a £4m signing-on bonus.
Mega money: Adebayor is set to become the best paid player in Tottenham's history

Edin Dzeko may follow Adebayor out of Manchester City with AC Milan interested in the striker.

Spurs have also firmed up their interest in Nottingham Forest's £5m-rated defender Jamaal Lascelles.

I'd be surprised if Ade deal isn't announced in the next 24 hours.

it's pretty much done !

Adebayor is one of the most frustrating players ever to play for City. I expect him to score against us next season and have a stormer, but then expect him to revert to type. It will be a test of AVB man-mangement skills.
