Having just taken a look at RVP's wiki page, I noticed something I never realised before, Thats RVP started out as a Left sided winger and Arsenal converted him into being a central striker.

If he is still willing and capable of being a left sided winger then this is looking like it makes a lot more sense, A winger that can chop and change into a striker role.

It fits with Mancini saying he wants to keep the 4 strikers we have too.

Edit: I should add, I dont expect the best striker in the prem last year to just be played on the wing, but being able to chop and change mid game could be key to giving us width when we need it.

Tolm has just posted on the Dzeko thread re RVP....To me it is apparent that he is our number 1 target and is just a matter of time before he signs which for me is great news however Tolm is talking about bombs and city will be accused of ruining football etc again. Now if the RVP signing happens as expected then is this the bomb Tolm is talking about??
