Diego Godin, he's decent

Been waiting for this to resurface, very good defender who would be value for money unlike the prices being quoted by the rip-off merchants in England and Italy. There isn't a huge difference in quality between him and Agger IMO, and both are very good with the ball at their feet.

Thought he was one of their better players in a weak season for Atletico other than his horror show in the second Madrid derby. He'd be a massive upgrade on Savic and Boyata and play better in a better defensive unit, ala Clichy.

How do you know that TH didn't know about Rodwell before the masses on here? He stopped posting transfer stuff before the story broke.

I don't know where TH gets his info from but I do believe that he has some useful sources. What no one who gets some info that is not in the general domain cannot control is the fact that a deal is not a done deal until it is done.

I also wish people would get it into their thick skulls that pretty anyone who has good, regular sources of info regarding what goes on at a football club is not going to reveal their sources.

If TH knew about it, you can rest assured that due to his not inconsiderable ego he would've either been back on here in a flash to post the info or failing that, if his dummy was still firmly spat out, he'd certainly have let his fan boys know via PM. From what I can gather, no-one has revealed that TH informed them that Rodwell was a goer via PM.

No matter how people spin the TH situation it is abundantly clear that in this window he was talking shite and nothing he said was correct. He has been a decent ITK in previous windows but not in this one. Let's just leave it now.
