Nah, its exactly what we have done here. There was zero reason not to wait until the summer. Someone being unhappy means they need to be gone at any cost. We constantly pay premium for our players. Hell we are constantly spunking 50-60 million on defensive midfielders and fullbacks and now 100 million attacking midfielders worth half that.I don’t. Torres wanted to leave. Pep doesn’t keep players that want out.
Pep doesn‘t negotiate in transfer deals.
Doubling our money on a fringe player who’s often ill/injured isn’t bad business.
You just wanted more money for him.
