Entirely agree.

He's better as a six than an eight or ten, but to have the option of replacing Fern, rotating with Rodri, while also covering eventualities for Gundo, Kev and other injuries, he would be a magnificent signing.

His ability to see and play through the lines is everything we need at the build up phase and he has age on his side.

He would easily get 30 plus games a season.

In the bigger games we could play two sixes in Rodri and FDJ, giving more of a screen, but knowing De Jong can break the lines if he wants to.

Rodri has been great this season but the one thing he doesn't do too much that Fern has been able to for years is to break the lines.

Imagine the two together and then Bernie or another creative workhorse, it would be formidable.
We are one injury away from disaster in my opinion, if we lose Bernardo or Rodri our chances of Titles are over for me.

KDB is playing less and less and sadly I can't see that ever getting better.

We have to strengthen and for me this is the man, combine him with Little Alf and incredibly, even with our magnificent team, we would be considerably stronger short and long term.

Two blue ribbon signings and both seemingly available.

Txiki work your magic and get those Cuban's clicking.

IF he's available and interested in coming, then we should be all over it.

Rare PX deals are done but has been done before with Danilo-Cancelo, or Nicky Summerbee for Craig Russell ;)

Offering Ferran and 20m could tempt Barca. Id imagine Ferran's salary will be a lot less than FDJ for barca to cover, so for them it will be 20m and a lot more saved down the pipeline.

FDJ and Haaland to city would be too good to be true though. Worthy replacements for Fernandinho and Aguero that they are

Do you see it happening?

And all for the combined cost of circa £70m.

No Bernie, no party. No Rodri, no party.

Gundo and Kev are coming to the end, certainly the end of their peak.

If we see Frenkie end up at Chelsea, Liverpool or United, we would live to regret it, especially as Torres is the viable makeweight right now.

I think we could sell Ake and Torres and get Haaland and De Jong and be a much, much better side by August for circa £25m.

I had given up hope, as Pep and City were denying it last month, but the Torres deal seems to be a hard one for Barca to finance as a stand alone?

Especially as Laporta has promised Xavi 3 signings in January. Seems the players that were unsellable are now on the market as they desperately need funds, They want Onana and Torres so far.
