If there's a maximum of 4 maximum association trained players. Then how will philips come in?
As one of the 17 free places, same as Grealish and Sterling.Assuming Carson, Ake ,Walker , Stones are our 4. Which is why Phillips' status has no relevance. If there's a maximum of 4 maximum association trained players. Then how will philips come in?
Which leaves us with no ability to sign any left back?As one of the 17 free places, same as Grealish and Sterling.Assuming Carson, Ake ,Walker , Stones are our 4. Which is why Phillips' status has no relevance.
Yes, so as we probably will sign a left back somebody will need to leave. Probably Jesus.Which leaves us with no ability to sign any left back?
If Jesus leaves we can sign any left back and any DM, regardless of homegrown status? That's interesting, I didn't know that.Yes, so as we probably will sign a left back somebody will need to leave. Probably Jesus.

There is no minimum quota of 8 HG players.
The rule is a maximum of 17 foreign players.
Also this is the PL rule, we have to build our squad via the UEFA rules for Champions League purposes so it's max 17 foreign players, 4 Club trained players and 4 English players.
We currently have 13 foreign players (not including Mendy), 1 club trained player - Foden - and 6 English players - Sterling, Walker, Stones, Carson, Ake & Grealish.
So we actually have to list 2 English players as foreign players currently because we've filled up our English player pot.
