It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Zin isn’t going anywhere if it’s down to his wishes or the clubs, he is happy, the club is happy with him. You won’t find a replacement as good as him happy to keep his head down and work as hard as he does with the number of games he gets.

As for Gabby, that one is down to him, I get the feeling the club wouldn’t sell him unless he wants to go, and would be loathed to let him stay in the premiership too.

Sterling however, different story. Not in the right frame of mind, so could be an outbound name maybe
And incomings? Any names?

On Gabriel Jesus, is it AFC Bell that Arsenal ITK, I saw a few Arsenal fans get excited last night online as that AFC Bell commented on their forum saying Jesus has agreed a 5 year deal with Arsenal on 200k a week all they need to do is pay the fee and he's theirs. Apparently AFC Bell is extremely reliable when it comes to Arsenal news.

I thought Sterling had an offer on the table?

It’s not like centre half or #8/#6 where there are two slots to fill.

There’s one DM slot and it’s not heavily rotated given its importance in our system; inevitably that means you’ll have one that’s fairly content to play second fiddle. That dynamic wouldn’t work between Rodri and Rice, something has to give.

Unless, as above, there’s a way to fit in both. I just don’t see it.
We don’t rotate the DM slot because Fernandinho isn’t reliable anymore. That leads to overplaying Rodri which has led his form to suffer from that. It literally may have cost us a Champions League title as we didn’t play him in the final because his form at the end of the season wasn’t particularly strong. Pep’s squads also can’t rely that heavily on a single player and they are meant to have another player not as backup but one that could naturally conquer the position based on form. As for Rice, he can play on multiple fronts.
