We don’t really have a history of selling our top players so I’m not sure what you’re basing that on.

I didn't say anything about the quality of players.

If they're "top" in the clubs eyes they don't leave.

I mean, if the player and club are okay with his departure and £35m is the best offer we can get then maybe we'd prefer the money to a lesser offer from somewhere else.

I just want a right footed right winger with some pace to give us another option to Mahrez or potentially Cole Palmer. Maybe the money could be put towards a replacement or another too quality player?

Prefer him to stay, certainly prefer him not to go to a league rival, but maybe the club needs/ wants the money.
