1) closer to 40m than to 30m, e.g. 37m plus add ons

2) closer to 40m than to 50m, e.g. 44m plus add ons

3) closer to 40m than to 50m including add ons

(2) may stand a chance, much depends on the add ons.

Because that certain waster was a better player at the time we signed him and had accomplished a lot more than Cucurella.

I’d be more worried if City continued to blindly throw out £50 million on full backs after the Mendy transfer. Let’s face it, he was a dreadful signing prior to his arrest.

Any transfer has an element of risk to it, but I cannot blame City for wanting to pay less than £50 million for a guy with one good season behind him for a mid-table PL club and has never kicked a ball in the CL or a major comp for his country.
