It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Our front line definitely needs a refresh so could see sterling and Jesus leaving given their contract situations….but Mahrez?? He’s having his best season in a city shirt and our leading goal scorer??

Gundogan leaving would also be an awful decision. Model professional, always at least 7/10 and walks in to the starting eleven of 18 premier league clubs. Top, top player.

if sterling does leave I’m sure we can find someone with better finishing ability but also need to replace his pace.

Also seems to be an assumption that Bernardo has changed his mind about Manchester…i

I'm hoping for 2 out and 3 in.
Sterling and Gundogan out.
Haaland, a CM and a RB in.

Plus Mendy officially gone and Alvarez bedded in slowly.

I'd hope that Bernardo stays. Jesus stays. Mahrez stays. Fernandinho stays. Steffen stays. Palmer plays more often. McAtee makes more appearances.

Our season has a huge amount of games so there's plenty of room if players have patience imo.

No DM?!

Only way I see Sterling leaving would be if pep tells him he won’t be getting much game time if he doesn’t sign a new contract!

My feeling is this won’t happen and he be around contributing as normal and probably a lot more next season if we get Haaland then he will have plenty of options end of next season.

Yes, I get the impression Jesus is the one looking to move on and Sterling will stay, I think we could well see a return to the Sterling that played off Aguero with Haaland.
