Genuinely believe that when its not going the way Pep expects it to go, he expects the players on the pitch to rectify it, thank god he brought Zink on at half time v Villa.
The difference is when we are coasting, 3 or 4 nil up & he will make subs. How many times did Phil come on as a sub with less than 10 mins to go in his 1st season & it certainly hasn't harmed his progress. Can see Mcatee getting a similar experience on the left wing this season

Dolye would be at least 3rd/4th choice from the EDS options right now if the club HAD to pick one.

THB, Mbete & Egan-Riley would all be ahead.

I think he has moved ahead of Mbete as a left sided option tbf, doubt Luke is going to make it here but should have a decent career elsewhere

If Mahrez signs an extension, and Jesus is sold, it pretty much leaves the club comfortable with Sterling seeing out his contract and leaving on a free. Which they are possibly already quite comfortable with.

Why not compare their last two seasons? Mahrez got 20 goals and 11 assists, Raphinha got 17 goals and 12 assists. And Raphinha was playing for a team who almost got relegated and had to play Dan James up front.

because you're not comparing "the last 2 seasons", you're comparing their entire careers.

Not sure, Mbete has been in and around the first team training mix for 2 seasons now. Doyle was out on loan at 17. I think Mbete would get the nod despite the experience gap in first team time.
