I think people need to be patient with Grealish. He's not had a great 1st season but neither did Rodri, Cancelo, Mahrez who were all big money signings. We signed him on long term deal to see the benefits over the course of the contract so let's see how he does next year and the year after. He's not going anywhere.

Sterling is a frustrating player but I think he's a winger that plays better with a striker. His best seasons where when he had Aguero to play to -17/18 and 18/19. If he does stay let's see how he performs with Haaland there. If he does go he goes with my best wishes. He's been good for us and is always a player that runs his bollocks off.

That's an incredible return from a winger. The issue with Sterling is a mental one. He's an instinct player who's in need of psychological assistance to overcome this major issue. Pep alluded to this back in October where he said Sterling's issues were mental.

Given time to think, Sterling becomes indecisive which leads to him losing the ball, playing a meaningless back pass, a poor attempt at a goal or an assisted pass. This is what he has to learn to overcome.

When in a situation where events are happening too quick to think about it, he generally makes the right pass or has an attempt on target.

I can't imagine City don't know this & aren't continually working on it, but regardless, Sterling's stats for a 27 year old Premiere/Champions League winger are astounding.

I think we particularly have seen peak Sterling in sky blue.

No. All 3 of their contracts run out next year though, so if none were sold, all 3 would leave in one window regardless.

I just think there's a certain element on here that believe their wives/girlfriends would bone Jack and it creates a bizarre hostility...

There are also a lot on here that would appear to be happy to let Jack have his wicked way with themselves, a scary though!

I don't recall any posters agreeing he has ripped up trees this season, but most seem to agree to give him at least this season to settle.

I do, you know full well I was against this signing, I never got Grealish, still don't, but any player that wears our shirt gets my full support.

The only one I could see extending is Mahrez.

Gundo I think will leave on a free and it will have been tremendous value. Don't see much sense in selling him. His value won't be that high, for what we paid for him, worth keeping a reliable experienced player another year.

Sterling I just think is beyond renewal now. As a situation, not as a player. But if there is no offer suitable for him orvtge club, then he'll stay too. Jesus feels like the one most likely to leave, he is far more desirable and easier to get.

I think it's 50/50. Mentalities can recover (Stones), however sometimes a new environment & a fresh start is best for all concerned.

My trust is that City have identified Sterling's mental weaknesses & are confident they can be ironed out. City & Sterling resolving his contract situation or him being allowed to leave this summer will tell us all we need to know about the club's position on the player. )(
