It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Haven't you heard mate, sportswashing at its finest...

Apparently you clean the money once you sell the asset.

Our CFA now attaches a certificate of quality to any prospect coming through our system, the coaching is the best they can receive.

Other clubs know that and it's why we can now demand a premium for them.

United used to be able to do it down the years with the likes of Webber, Welbeck, Chadwick and and such.

Until their youth system turned to shit thanks to us!!
The decision to build and invest in youth has been a masterstroke. The fee’s received for players training and education is a welcome revenue stream. The club is making progress and you can see it in the balance sheet. The tide is turning. FFP…no chance :-)

Its like 100m+ in net spend if Sterling goes through then... Cucurella in and we're around +50m this window... Amazing. Aké replacement doesn't have to cost 50m either. This window is destined for a + net spend.
The "Net Spend Trophy" so coveted by the scrounging bin dipping filth, will be another 'trophy' destined for the M11 postcode it seems ;-)
Oh how the piss will boil !!

Wow! Danny Webber, I remember him playing in the Stockport Metro League (kids u 17 league for the majority who won’t know). Foden played there too, although I never saw him personally :)

Just listened to “Why Always Us” podcast with Pol Ballus.

Quick summary of what was said as far as I understood:

Potential Leavers

Zin: Very Unlikely
Bernardo: Very Unlikely
Sterling: Very Likely
Ake: Possible

Will City Replace?

Sterling: Unknown but as it stands today they are not looking and could leave it a year (presumably to give Palmer a chance)
Ake: Yes but no names given. Unlikely to be a big star.

Incomings

Cucurella: Still alive but has been on the back burner. City will concentrate on it now but if City think he is overpriced they will look at other options at full back.

Other players: Dependant on unexpected departures or a desirable player suddenly being available.

So as it stands today Sterling and Ake are out Cucurella and a central defender are in.
