It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

I'm not one of the one out, one in brigade but we absolutely need to replace Sterling's pace on the wings IMO. Haaland is rapid, yes, but he'll be central.

Having somebody (Sterling) who is rapid, direct and clever with movement is priceless and gives a solid plan B.

We've lost goals this transfer window with Jesus and Sterling leaving, let's just hope that Haaland and Alvarez will cover it. Hopefully Jack kicks on this season
They should do, they're natural goalscorers.
Once all settled i expect them to score a lot of goals.

They need seriously have time off from transfer forum, it's clear dwelling on this thread by being doom and gloom will affecting their minds.

Just fucking relax people.
It’s a brilliant window so far.

3 in 2 out.

We have got the new Jesus who might develop into the player we thought jesus would.

We have the best young striker in the world.

We have sold a player whos form has nosedived for the last two years.

We have signed solid back up in an area we lacked depth (Phillips).

A left back would complete the window.

Haaland is a generation talent, one of the best strikers in the world. And you don’t think he’s an upgrade to Jesus? And you don’t think Alvarez, a future Argentinia star and one of best attackers in South America, is an upgrade to Sterling? Seriously?

There's variables to both. Alvarez is coming from the Argentine league he hasn't played in Europe. New language new city, new country he has to settle first this isn't Fifa. Sterling has scored big goals for us, hes the second highest goal scorer in Pep Guardiolas era at man city. That's massive boots to fill for Alvarez

Haaland is a freak talent and a upgrade on Jesus because he's a phenom. He could score 40 odd goals next season. But he does have fitness issues.
