It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

What other options will we be looking at do you think?

Linked in press:
Gerardo Arteaga, Genk
Álex Grimaldo, Benfica (1 year left on his contract)
Borna Sosa, Stuttgart
Kieran Tierney, Arsenal
Tyrick Mitchell, Crystal Palace

Other players potentially available:
Rayan Aït-Nouri, Wolves
José Gayà, Valencia (1 year left on his contract)
Javi Galán, Celta Vigo (£15.1m release clause)
Ramy Bensebaini, Gladbach (1 year left on his contract)
Raphaël Guerreiro, Borussia Dortmund (1 year left on his contract)

Or will we wait?

I wonder if there isn't a suitable left back to go for this year whether we would go for a centre half instead and have Ake as permanent left back

Wait for the next window you mean? No chance too big a gamble.

Nouri for me though god knows what Wolves would want!? You would think 40 would get him.

Were the scouting department supposed to spot that Mendy would have two serious knee injuries? Don't recall anyone saying he was a disaster in those first few games before the injury.

I do think we need to find some cheaper options occasionally though. I don't recall any links to Cucurella when he was in Spain and it's not like we haven't got plenty of links out there to spot potential.
Pep wanted Cucurella in his first season 5 years ago. Was still at Barca at the time
