On FridaysMore than concerned?
Doesn't necessarily mean we are not working on any deals, just because the media have n't reported on them yet. I seem to recall both Ruben and Bernardo deals came out of nowhere.I am slightly surprised/worried there hasn’t been any links to a left back. Was expecting something to be in the press by now
Can you imagine the flapping if Cancelo or Walker get injured at West Ham.
Agree with you.. but I have no idea which one of the many we’ve been linked with it may be?For what it's worth and having seen how the club has been run under our owners i have no doubt that we will have at least 1 left back in place before the end of the window.
Lol, would do me mate. We'll seeHear me out…Marcelo 1 year contract and Gomez in
I think the word is sell and maybe the answer to your question is because they aren't stupid cunts. Although they might be for all I knowwhy would Wolves give him to us for any less than 50m having just watched Brighton stick the same price tag on Cucurella.....they wouldnt
Thanks, that makes sense they thought they would get Cucerella and having not done they are concerned but expect alternatives easier than the Kane situation, it also says City, not least Pep so sounds like every one is on the same page. I’d say every fan would feel the same. Here's the full paragraph - it goes on to say a bit more about the negotiation, which City were relatively relaxed about, but say Brighton were cagey about figures, so they felt it was ok to bid below the £50m mentioned in the press. I've bolded a section that suggests it's the full back that's the issue, and that they are expecting to get one in - clearly finding a good full back is a lot easier than finding a world class striker.

It is a late setback and City, not least Pep Guardiola, are desperate for a left-back. Just like 12 months ago, when Harry Kane could not be prised from Tottenham Hotspur, Guardiola is more than concerned about the balance of his squad. Unlike 12 months ago, alternatives may be easier to come by.
Sources close to Cucurella, and influential ones at City, believed a deal would be feasible up until the end of last week.

YawnIt’s not a disaster. What started as a fantastic window and very early on, has turned into a really poor one as things stand. We are weaker and that’s not flapping it’s just saying it how it is. Still a few weeks so I fully expect city to sign a couple more otherwise it will be a very long season
