and this bankrupt club wants Bernie
I'll have a look for it & post it. Essentially I woke up the following morning after one of the US tour games & Bluemoon was awash with posters saying did you see Bernardo's post match interview.Missed that,do you have the quotes?
Mate, after Bernardo's recent interview in the US, it's obvious he wants out. Pep's continually states he only wants players who want to be at the club & in specific reference to Bernardo, he said if a club matches our valuation, a deal would be done.
Reports out of France first claimed PSG mooted a swap deal for Bernardo & Neymar. Now Barça are briefing anyone who'll listen claiming they're activating their 4th economic lever (whatever the fuck that is) & want Bernardo this window whether FDJ leaves or not. Now further reports are coming out of France saying PSG are willing to offer cold hard cash for Bernardo & tge player hasn't moved to quash any of those rumours.
Regardless of Bernardo's contract situation or whether we need to sell or not, the constant speculation is unsettling. Martin Tyler even mentioned it when Bernardo came on yesterday, & to be honest, we don't need this shit.
We just need clarity & certainty that everyone at the club is 100% focused on the season ahead & what we have to do, & isn't casting an eyeball at Paris or Catalonia.
This isn't panicking or flapping, it's the reality of the situation staring us in the face. Personally I now want Bernardo gone, a replacement brought in & a new LB. We're not too far off that becoming a reality.

I searched for it & was left gobsmacked. Essentially, when asked about speculation over his immediate City future, he said he didn't know what the future held, but he can assure the club & the fans that whilst he remains a City player, he'll continue to give 100%. :-|
That changed everything for me. His face & body language pointed to a player who wants out. Thankfully he's not one of those players whose head has already left & only his slouching body remains.
This is why fans are accepting he wants to leave & I've now joined the ranks of those wanting him gone ASAP & a replacement brought in, so we can end the constant speculation & have certainty regarding Bernardo.
I love the guy, but I agree with Pep, if he doesn't want to be here, it's better he goes.
Interesting - I think the fact we were in for Cucurella shows we clearly still want a specialised LB though- Let's hope we make a move before SeptemberFrom Soriano's book;
"Guardiola always prefers working with smaller groups with stable hierarchies and not a lot of internal competition. In the years that he has been leading the Barcelona first team, the number of squad players has diminished and some of the new signings that have arrived at the club have known that they would be reserves and should not question the existing hierarchy. Guardiola chooses to work with 14 or15 players that have his total confidence. The end result is a very stable playing style and a changing room that doesn't harbour much conflict. The obvious risk is a potential lack of resources in case of injuries or fatigue during the long seasons"
Not sure if his attitude has changed since arriving in the PL but our leaders seem content with the risks.
