I don’t think that really happens anymore. Clubs have wisened up that international tournaments are not a good barometer for how good a player is or could be.anyone else think we may be holding back on transfers until January due to the World Cup?

No idea if he's staying with us or going on loan but he was nowhere to be seen over the weekend, either with the 1st team or the U21s. If its cover for injures we need though we need a player that can do what Walker and Cancelo did at West Ham.i I dont’t know who but there won’ t be too many with that abilityits mental if he`s right to be honest!! we need a solid good class left back? someone who when needed can step in at a good level, rotation position but around the £20-30m level so we can rest Cancelo when required.
