It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

I've just read that the FDJ issue stems from a 2 year extention that would have took him to 2026. He would earn 20 m euros this year and 25m euros next year. They want to go back to 2019 contract which would mean he only had 2 years left.

This is going to get seriously Messi lol

Nice pun in there mate ;-) Seriously though, how many red flags, contractual issues, salary cap issues, money laundering, not paying owed wages to players under contract plus a huge debt which continues to grow get to a point that the football authorities dont step in and grab a hold of them to sort it out? Look at the list of players they cant register? Lewa, Kounde, Christinsen, Kessie, Raphina all cant even get a squad/shirt number or play?

then its absolutely mental that UEFA or FIFA havent stepped in to stop them buying players etc? let alone this holding company that they secretly set up to pay themselves etc?
God I used to love watching Barca in the Messi-pomp days and always looked at them more positively than Real. But thinking now, at least Real are aware they are b****rds with transfers/finances ( I know it doesn't stop them also throwing their toys out of the pram). But Barca's attempts to maintain this 'holier than thou' image while operating in a way that MUST be breaching financial regulations and at the same time smearing City and others is ridiculous.

It's interesting they are only looking at 3 player contracts. If there was "fraud" involved with those then I'd look at every contract extention signed under the previous regime. If I were frenkies legal team I'd ask for the books to be open and all contracts examined, especially of the players Barca want to keep.

3 players contracts reverted back that would probably free up the required revenue to register some of the new players lol

Barca going at this like a bull in a China shop
EDIT - they are looking to void 4 contracts. I wonder if they'll pull the same shit on Messi

surely though the contracts are legally binding as they were signed with barca and who acted on their behalf at that particular time? Nothing about that makes it illegal?

Barca are probably straw clutching. They are desperate to register new players and will do anything to get it done.
