I was writing down my thoughts about the LB situation and the speculations about Bernardo leaving for the fee thats been reported. I too think City is a very well run club (perhaps the best run club in the world), that was the first thing I stated in my post. I also think Txiki has done a tremendous job over the years, and previously this summer with signing Haaland & Phillips for example. I stated this in my post too. I can think 95% of everything Txiki has done is great and still think us starting the season with no new LB is not particularly well done by Txiki, and think potentially selling Bernardo for the fee being reported, when the season has already started, would be a very bad move by him and the club. I still think he has done a terrific job here overall, I just think this could/can be handled way better. Apparently its insane to think so according to most posters here.In fairness a lot of the above is just you guessing what did happen and what is happening right now? compared to most i think City are well run, I have no sure reason at present to think otherwise. Selling Zinchenko may have been a little rash but we don't know the details or how the deal panned out, what fell through and what other options we are looking at. So i don't think we need to go glass half empty straight away. There are still over three weeks of the transfer window to go after all.
When we signed zinchenko he wasn't world class. We don't need a world class LB as very few "world class" LBs are available at the moment.Is this Gomez fella any good? Doesn’t fill me with confidence that plan A was to loan him out (presumably because he was deemed not ready), yet now he’s suddenly the immediate solution for us since we’re not buying anyone else. I need someone who’s watched him to tell me he’s world class :)
Gomez is better than getting no one at all. Atleast now we have a option in case cancelo/jwe gets injured

Well if we sell Bernie for a fraction of his worth , I will agree with you. If you want transfers done in 5 minutes, go play Career Mode on FIFA.
I bought cucurella a few weeks back. Bit premature. Had to put him on the bench and list him for transfer.

Sharing my thoughts on a rumour, saying "if this is true", is not believing the rumour for certain will happen. Its just my thoughts if it will happen. Which is what we discuss on the transfer forum, we speculate on what will or could happen based on what is being reported.The problem is you appear to believe these rumours. Why not wait and see what happens rather than panic before any decision is even made.

Hence the word "potentially" which anyone who's not a complete "Pillock" have no problem understanding. Try google it is its a new word for you, lots of information out there. I think the plan to loan him out to Girona was from before we walked away from Cucurella deal. JMO.
