I know the weird weird world of ‘fanfiction’ - where people imagine usually sexual spin off encounters between characters from their favourite film, TV series etc - can be downright odd. But this Twitter video thread about an unrequited love affair between Kev and Jack surely takes the (soggy?)...

Over a season though worth every penny and my 2 cents.
Kev wasn't orignally signed on £400k p/w and he did earn his pay rise.
It's a defensive mechanism so they can say "I told you so, or I was right all along," if he doesn't turn out to be good enough and so they can anticipate any criticism from the media, other fans, etc.
Its all good.
