It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

So is that it then for this window, or might there still be a surprise in store?. I personally think that's it

I hope we can get one more in the door as I can’t shake the feeling the World Cup is going to drain our older players like walker, de bruyne, and gundogan and we notoriously pick up injuries and niggles around January due to work load anyway?

Really good window for us. I guess the next order of business is to finally announce the Foden extension, possibly a Bernardo extension, Delap loan, other loans and CFG housekeeping.

Pep extension needs to be confirmed. All reports have it done so just the timing on it now.

Full Back Situation: Gomez officially signed and we have a left back. He really is a City fan!

Bernardo is staying at City for this season as Barca continue to fumble about. Multiple reports reiterating the offer would have to be something huge and leave City enough time to get a replacement. Rumours that City have offered him a new, greatly increased contract.

It looks like City’s incomings and outgoings are over but, as in every window, we will all start to hear more rumours in the final few days and wonder if a Superstar signing will come out of nowhere. Let’s face it, however unlikely, City are always on the look out and we have £200 million in the bank.

City’s current squad which contains 5 names that will go is below;

The window closes 11PM on 1st September (16 days left)

I’ll post one of these most evenings around this time on this thread

You are welcome.

Please note this isn’t a summary of what is in the news, what I reckon or what will definitely happen. It’s only a summary of what is currently being discussed on the transfer forum.

City have proposed a new deal to Bernie and vastly improved wages :)

Last Saturday may well have been a crucial moment, even in his own mind.
Berny definitely got emotional last week,like I said on Sunday the crowd noise in South & East stand made his hair stand up it was class
If that didn't do anything for him then nothing will stop him leaving imo
