100%, but losing KDB for a season, as well as not having Silva or Aguero anymore I think has shown we can adapt.

We'll never have a player like Walker, but we could have a player that does something else really well too.

Hopefully.


At the very worst I don't see him dropping off for a few years yet, barring something out of the ordinary.

That’s because it isn’t, this talk is driven by an outside chance ‘potential deal’ for an attacking player being mentioned.

The real discussion is which midfielder and is it a left or right back coming in.

I prefer it when they both line up alongside eachother :)

I think they are our best centre back pairing. I love Laporte but I think we are much better with Dias as the left sided centre back and Stones beside him. They definitely do have that connection playing centre back together.
Dias isn't the same playing right sided centre back, He's a different animal on the left.

Indeed. Personally I’m on the Kalvin Phillips hype train. Think he’d be excellent in this City team. I love Cucurella too.

I’ve also got one eye waiting on next week’s press reports. Suspect we’ll see even more names thrown at the wall once the season is over.

Be nice if we could get everything done before July 1st for once.

Was hoping for an 'out of nowhere' deal with Monaco again for Tchouameni, like we did with Bernardo. Can see him going Madrid now.
 
Marco Rose - sacked by Dortmund. Wonder who they get next, he's ran every player into the floor this season

Anything is possible. City may well go abroad for a CM. If it were a choice between Phillips or Nunes from sporting I’d take Phillips. I would’ve loved Pogba because he’s far more talented than he gets credit for in England. I don’t fancy De Jong. He’s on 400k a week and the contract is long. Those aren’t the sorts of figures you pay a CM unless he’s KDB. And De Jong isn’t KDB.

I don’t know a lot about Tchou outside the hype but I know loads of people rate him highly.

ya ur last line may indeed become true IF indeed mbappe stays at PSG.

Of course my wish is one of salad or mane go to Madrid

No reason not to with no tournaments. I'd expect players could get there futures settled then take their holidays.

Pep could make a monster with the kid, nothing he cant do in the midfield.

highest number of tackles (95), interceptions (110) and successful pressures (205) to his name at Monaco in Ligue 1, but also the third-highest number of goalscoring actions.

Added bonus of beating hte dippers & madrid to him
