Hmm I think this is for once not a way to shit on City. Haaland is a massive name and using his picture best way to get clicks and engagement. Not to mention he is the headline signing of the window. Still feel that we could do with another left back. I know we signed Gomez but he’s still pretty raw and will take a while to become established.

Alvarez had a trial with Madrid when he was 16 but he couldn't sign due to his age - presumably they did some background checks then. Either way, they can do one.
