Grealish has been great recently and will only improve. He’s even said himself he’s gone from having a free role to Pep giving him strict instructions and he’s struggled with it. I respect his honesty, not many players would admit that. I don't see how he can be dropped at present yet some still insist on giving him a hard time. The guy can’t win.Many thought Grealish was going to be the game changer for us, then Phillips was going to be a masterstroke of a signing. Is Maddison now going to be the catalyst for the champions league...
Mediocre English players are just that.
Not pleased with our recruitment recently. Haaland and Alverez aside, the rest of the players are far too slow and not at the level we need.
He may look a bit flash on the outside I get that. But, one of my close work colleagues is a big Leicester fan and says he’s an outstanding worker for the team and comes across really down to earth in all his interviews. I do remember watching one just before the World Cup with Jamie and Gary and he came across really well when talking about World Cup selection. Obviously you never know but a bit like grealish I believe he’s a likeable blokeSerious question, Maddison a top lad, where did you hear that? This summer is about sensible signings for the squad. Maddison, Chilwell and Bellingham would be a hell of a summer.

I understand some on here not liking maddison but pep seems to. i understand the signing. Hes not too expensive, creative. I also think its part of the pre planning. Think it will be bellingham and maddison plus foden moving into midfield from next season as to not be over reliant on kev.

This. As if pep and Txixi after all our success and there own individual success outside of city don’t know what players city need and why they need them. I believe that a lot of the posters on here even if they were sat with pep and txixi and they explained why each player is a perfect fit beyond just surface level quality would fail to understand it. I’m not saying I would understand it either but I certainly wouldn’t argue it. Trying to use an improving grealish and a Phillips who has literally started one game for us (mainly due to injuries and the fact he’s barely had any time with the team to understand our play styles and model) as reasons against Maddison is pretty funny.I love that some people on here think they know more about football than Pep

How about we bring in players that don't struggle to adapt in their first two years?
The problem is we spent 100 million pounds on a player that hasn't been a game changer for us. If he played for any other side we'd be laughing about it. Don't want to turn this into another Grealish thread but he was the typical fairly decent English player and it largely hasn't been brilliant
Now we're going to do it all again. We seem to be going for players for their nice personality.
