Debatable but when Liverpool bought Andy Robertson and Matip nobody thought they would be the players they are. Probably say the same about Salah and Jota too. Think Pep and his team know what they’re doing.

Both were younger than Phillips now and Matip was very good in Germany. I’m just registering how these names don’t excite me when there are gettable targets for the same who are better or much better targets for not much more. Anyway I’m not Klopp so I won’t be moaning forever lol, still hoping some of these names are mostly made up rumors. And I won’t do what others do, which is to change my mind on names because we have been linked to them

I have to admit, buying a few decent players for relatively low fees is a gamble. Haaland is the exception of course.If it works it’s fantastic but in the past we have bought shit and they remained shit. Interesting approach this summer.

That’s a really good window. But if Phillips comes, Nunes ain’t. Phillips is a like for like replacement on Ferna while Nunes is more if Gundogan should depart

I like him. When we’re having a bad game, he is the sort you can bring on for a bit of aggression. We already have a Rolls Royce DM - we don’t need another one.
