Yea and his clause activates IF they get relegated. As for Cucurella i cannot see that being done quick or before the season ends, as there is no clause for mr Txiki to activate, haha
on a related note - will be an interesting summer - with regards to Everton Spending - and Leeds & Burnley writing to the PL for Everton's finances

He seems like he has done best when he's been utilized as a defensive midfielder.Perhaps, but maybe this is why I can't get on board with De Jong at the moment. What is his role exactly? He's neat and tidy and can run with the ball well, but I've yet to see him really excel at anything.
Under a different coach, who knows?
But it's a hell of a gamble for the fee and wages involved.

It looks like he makes less tackles, wins fewer headers and has less interceptions per game than Rodri.
He just gives me a 'jack of all trades' kind of vibe. I'm just amazed he's viewed by many as a midfielder who you build your team around. He's not shown anything like that in his career so far.
As Domalino said, perhaps Pep can get that out of him but he's not a raw kid anymore. He's 25.
