is bellingham still set on coming to us if it came to a choice between us though i wonder?
I don't think we want to test the theory by sitting on the sidelines this summer.
His price is only going up anyhow!

they won't get more than 30m for Mane, surely that doesn't change the money situation

thats the worry on a future fee surely though? they would be looking for at least a grealish type fee?

They would be in desperate need of a 9 if Mane left too. Tricky position for them if both Salah and him are intent on running their deals down.
They can possibly get away with Djota and Salad, certainly if Firminho stays and Diaz chips in.
The issue, as you say, is also factoring in Salah leaving next year.
They have buried their heads in the sand for too long.

I…don’t like this.If Mane leaves and Liverpool move on Bellingham this window, so will we.
At the expense of all others.
I’m desperate to see Bellingham in a City shirt in the future - but we’ve got some squad building to do, and I worry we’d suffer next season if we pick up JB at the expense of a LB/RB/#6/Felix.
My Football Manager head says yeah fuck it let’s do it.
Sensibilities say make our intentions crystal clear to Jude for Summer 2023, and focus on our wider squad building business this window.
It’s a tough one.

I wouldn't risk another season with 3 fullbacks and no DM cover just to get bellingham, to be quite honest.

Diaz always looked like a replacement for Mane but the deal seems to have been completed early because he was ready to join Spurs
