Rodri can’t play every game and his position needs to be rotated like every other position.

I’ve given up getting people to understand this

when would he play? we have Rodri, can he play other midfield positions?

Id imagine Rodri has played close to 50 games this season which if continues will surely just lead to injuries. Any player coming in will get games, Pep is happy to rotate and keep people fresh and i think its what is part of our success. Problem this year has been the drop off for Fern which hasn't really allowed Pep to rotate Rodri.

He's absolutely mega. If you combine his age, talent and physicality with Pep's coaching, he'd grow into the most complete midfield player in the world imo.

He's an insanely talented B2B. The combination of technique, creativity, athleticism and pressing ability is almost unprecedented and makes you remember the likes of Lothar Matthaus. He's like prime Fernandinho but with added dribbling and passing ability. All that at 18 yo.

IMO he would immediately compete for a starting spot (as 8) with Bernardo/Gundogan. Besides, he probably can cover the 6 position if needed

Haaland — done
Alvarez — joins the first team after his loan ends
New midfielder — Tchouaméni would be my first choice
Full back — there will probably be links but ultimately we won’t sign anyone.

Fernandinho and Jesus will leave. Steffen will probably leave too and be replaced with another backup keeper. If any other players leave then they will be replaced but other than that that’s it.

For the money he'd cost there's no way we'd have him just as back up though.

The money that was quoted last summer was around 50 million. That number is going to fall once Leeds are relegated.

Assuming Dinho and Mendy are gone, and Alvarez and Haaland included, We currently have 1 space on the squad, doesn't matter whether it is home grown or not.

I've said for ages that Ward-Prowse would be an excellent back-up / replacement for KDB in the medium to long term. Sign him with a view to 'sharing duties' with KDB and we've got a smooth transition in later years.
Fewer games next season will benefit KDB.

reminds me too much of when liverpool were buying Charlie Adams and Rickie Lambert. Good player but not the caliber we need. Prefer the academy kids to him

That's where Grealish will come in because that's his future, he's not going to operate on the wings for us for long.
