Yeah we need to have better standards for this signing imo. Its a position we simply cannot afford to have mediocrity in.It’s also a step down to what Liverpool would potentially be getting with Tchouameni. Funny thing, they can have Fabinho and add Tchouameni. We have Rodri and the drop off has to be massive to the second name?

I think it’s time to promote from EDS, we have to start to at some pointNot really with either point. The only couple of positives it is a cheap squad option that will serve the Brexit ruling. There are better options that would improve us. Even promoting a couple more EDS players would be better.

Phillips is a clogger however....and we need better irrespective as Ferna is leaving - we need toreplace him with a player who is prime Ferna ....otherwise its a step down.....and Phillips is nowhere near a prime Ferna....
