I could see that and it may be an option now they qualified for the CL.
Sterling seems to like playing with Kane and with Son that would be a good front three.

I do think he would relish the chance to play with Haaland though.
His pace still scares the shit out of defenders and if he could play on the right wing he would get back to playing his natural game.

You kid, but I could see them going for that. Obviously we'd have to sweeten the deal considering Sterling's contract situation.

They must know they can't afford Sterling's wages unless they offload Kane or Son. Son will never be worth more than he is right now.

If they could swap Son for Sterling and a bit of cash, they'd be replacing a world class winger for a slightly younger, English world class winger - who also has a great understanding with Kane.

The only thing stopping them is the fact that Sterling wouldn't want to go to Spurs. Because nobody wants to go to Spurs.

I’d love to see him stay, but I thought he seemed slightly subdued after the match.

Can’t remember if he was that chilled with his other title wins or not? Maybe he’s just a more chilled out guy than the rest of the squad?

I have supported the guy since day 1 and defended him on here, the abuse he gets is totally unwarranted.

His stats since arriving from Liverpool are incredible, it makes me laugh the way the Grealish fans boys defend their boy, yet slag Sterling off, if Jack turns in half the numbers of Sterling he will have done well.

Makes me laugh how we can’t all get behind & defend every player in this trophy winning machine. Every single player has played a part in yet another title win

Can’t see them doing that, but I like your thinking and hope it happens!
 
I really wonder if the links to Cucurella and Phillips were legit. Gonna be interesting to see after this week what was actually legit.

Btw we should perhaps expect an announcement this week... :)
