Just had a text Marc Cucurella done deal , sterling pushing for a move away.

Thanks as always mate. Not surprising with Sterling. He’s a huge factor to our recent success but think his time is up and it’s best for both sides to split ways. Cucurella will be a fantastic signing.

No way will Spurs pay Sterling's wages. They are going to sign Perisic this week so not sure where he fits

Perisic will play left wing back where he has done for inter last couple of years.

Might get a decent signing on bonus if transfer fee is lower than full market value due to only having a year left on his contract.

I thought he might run his contract down.

Will be quite interesting to see what happens with Gabby and Raz and how either or both are replaced if they go.

I`ve just been watching Cuckoos highlights on YouTube and I feel one or two of you could well be eating a fucking big dish of humble pie if things go according to plan and he comes to us.
Time and time again you watch his fighting spirit and determination to get the ball back for his team mates and his tracking back (yes I know he`s a full back and thats his job) with speed is something we`ve been lacking.
A wonderful signing should this happen after 93.20 brilliant post earlier, as I have no doubt this will happen.

He first said it was a done deal for January, so its not like everything has been a 100% correct. With that said, I think he has got enough right to take notice.

If you've ever watched the pl2 games, the kid is lightning quick with crazy confidence and moves. Makes Raz look like an old man kinda the way a young raz did a few years ago till he lost a step and confidence.

Great news on Cucurella.....looks a very good player. If Sterling leaves it will be to go abroad. He has done very very well for is and he clearly wants another step on his career....a different challenge and no one can begrudge him that..
However, if he does leave I'd be trying very hard to hang onto Gabby to give us more options upfront
