It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

People can throw out the one year left on his contract all they like, £50m or less even for Jesus is poor.

We have no need to sell him, he's in demand, and Arsenal are desperate for a striker. We should be holding them to ransom.
It's not JUST the contract. He's also asked to leave.

Imagine if he played for arsenal and we was the buying club. They would definitely up the price.

posted this in the Cucurella thread by mistake. But it’s interesting Romano gives them the done deal sign a day or two before he announces it

Look out for the Twitter account Transfers I think it is. Just watched a podcast the leader of the account is the one that makes the graphics for Romano. Romano apparently tells them to make a graphic when the deal is done. Before he even tweets done deal so if that account makes a graphic of Kalvin or Cucurella then it’s done

Haha, okay! Keep us posted :)

by scoring 4 against Watford ?

i'm not seeing the logic of all this love for Jesus, he works hard but offers little threat and cannot play as a 9 hence we now have haaland, he doesn't replace Mahrez on the right based on his stats or Foden \ Grealish on the left

he hasn't kicked on at all and we are now moving him around to try and fit him in as he runs around a lot. hopefully Arsenal stump up the cash and we move him on, I'm not sterlings biggest fan but I'd much rather he stayed

I suppose if he stays it will still be worth betting on the number of offsides each match, how can he still not look along the line ?
I’ll give you a clue. Look who he’s tied with on the assists table.

This one?

Oh has he? Well that settles it then, just rip up his binding contract if he asked then.
No one's saying that. What City have done is not hold players to ransom who want out. Sane, the Bernardo situation last summer, etc.. If their opening offer was 30 (disrespectful tbh) then I expect it will get done somewhere a bit above 40. There's too much smoke for this one not to be happening.

Yep. We got more for an injured Sane in the final year of his contract, who only had one destination and hadn't kicked a ball all year.

The only smoke surrounding this one is the suggestions it will happen for less than the club is expecting.
