It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

looks like Barca members have agreed to sell off % of their TV rights, looks to be about +80% agreement to sell. I assume that means that may have the fund available to keep de Jong, buy players etc

Except regular football
Can they, they have a lot of forwards as do we. If he plays to his best he can play as many games for us as them. If he’s confident in his own ability, and he is, he’ll believe he can play for us and with a striker probably better than the last season or so. If he thinks he gets into Chelseas team he thinks he can get into ours.

He has contacts...agents included...you can dismiss him if you'd like, but he is laughing all the way to the bank...
Couldn”t care less what money he makes good luck to him. He doesn’t know anything though. It’s twitter 99% made up.

So are Barcelona back in Business now ? It seems this vote that took place had a majority of yes votes. They are selling something for 700m but I'm not sure what they are selling. Lol

Nope. this put them just under the wage cap they have already (if its 700m)

So this cannot be translated at all into transfer funds?
It can but they stand at

-€144m (Current Salary Cap)
€700m from Sales of the assets tonight. (49% of all merchandising & 25% of the TV deal for the next 50 years)
€556m (New Salary Cap Limit)

Current Wage bill = €560m

They get closer to being able to play ball but still need to sell to buy etc.

so if I'm getting it right they have 200 mil budget this summer,i dont know if its smart to spend 100 of that on silva

If Barcelona are keeping Frenkie de Jong then assumingly Bernie will stay for another season at the very least.

Don’t know we’re to post this but I’m pissed off that we are selling bazunu to the saints . He should have been been our second keeper this season.

I have a feeling that if sterling leaves (and also assuming Jesus leaves) the idea is literally just for palmer to take his spot. Have foden, grealish, Mahrez and palmer on the wings, haaland and Alvarez down the middle.

I think that misses pace, but it's also a bit intriguing. I like palmer I genuinely think he's in the foden-2019/20 place right now.

Would you say it'd be a disaster if sterling isn't replaced by a signing?
