It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

It's a shame whenever someone decides to delete their account, but the door always remains open to them to return. Never really understood why some posters get so embroiled in personal arguments, but I guess that's the nature of online discourse these days. People seem to be increasingly polarised and entrenched in their views, and reasoned discussion suffers as a result.

It would help if people could generally be a bit more tolerant, and also report posters that they think are behaving unreasonably so that we can take any necessary action.
I can safely say I've flown by the seat of my pants a few times on here by being a dick and I'm sure you've come close to flirting me off for good.
The post match thread was the trouble, like a moth to flame, i couldn't help myself but now, as I near 50, it's time to stop being a dick....( just hope it lasts) :)

I've seen people argue with him a little and he defends himself, but then again I'm not here too much. Hope he comes back because he knows his stuff and adds so much insight into player attributes
I think he was maybe a bit thin skinned, got upset with me a few times for me being me, put him on ignore, problem solved.

True but the majority of his passes are ten yards out to a centre back.

Of course but it's him having the ability of pinging it the full length of the pitch with accuracy which forces teams to play differently against us. That will be even more of a weapon in the arsenal now that Haaland is here.

But yeah, anyone playing for us will usually pick the short option because that's our game.

It will be interesting to see what happens this season.

I think it is quite unfair to Gus, comparing the two. In impact on the forum and also in that Barca didn't leave for being 'hounded' he was banned, for winding folk up.

Yep, thought he was OK, but I have lived out of the UK most of my life and have learned to accept cultural differences easier, I guess.

Twats gonna twat, I suppose.

He actually sent me a PM to say thank you and was deleting his account.

Gus had a good insight about the wider game and working in the media.

I felt his written English was superb, but perhaps some things he got lost in translation, and there were some who seemed to enjoy getting the rise out of him.

I've taken breaks from this place in years gone by when this forum could get to you, and would hope he reconsiders at some point in the future.

We are all Blues, and at least he knew the difference between there and fucking their!!

Not enough of those posters about on here ;)
Bloody hell mate. Wether he can spell or not is neither hear or their!

Saw something on twitter after fa cup semi that Eddy is left footed & Steffan right so the pass back was constantly to his weaker foot & was never 100% confident.
We signed Steffan from a German club where he was a decent goalkeeper so might end up back on loan there.
As it looks like his time is here I will wish him all the best where ever he goes next.
We signed him from US mate, got loaned to Dusseldorf.
