But he does have fitness issues.
Mismanaged by Dortmund

Ben Arfa? Some fans feel Mahrez is lazy and sometimes selfish, not a view I hold a haten to add. He was brilliant last season and I hope he can maintain those levels next season, especially in terms of goals scored.
What? Have you seen his back!?K
I'd love Leroy Sane back
Alvarez halland and foden all have that burst of pace I don't see it as the big worry as some do. ImhoYou still need a bit of pace around the side. We do get quite a few counter attack situations that last year I think we fail to capatalise on due to there being a lack of pace up top.
Also you need that little burst of speed in and around the box to create those spaces and get defenders heading back to their own goal.
My view is that we should be prioritising a replacement for Sterling/Jesus over a 4th choice centre back if Ake leaves. Keeping 4 centre backs happy is very difficult. They tend not to be rotated or subbed off as much as a forward or wide player.
Mahrez is a step up from Ben Arfa.Ben Arfa?
Did it really though, in the cold light of day? It was a drop of the shoulder and a cut back from the end line, massively important goal but when you look at the goal in its own rite, it was a fairly simple one and I personally don't think it relied on rapid pace or genius, just shifting the defenders direction and we've plenty of people who can do that.Pace counted against Villa last game of the season.
That’s a thought..Money laundering...
Yes, wasn’t pace, maybe acceleration over a couple of yards but like you say I think Foden or even KDB could do that. If we do replace Sterling there are a lot of qualities we’ll look for I doubt raw pace will be one.Did it really though, in the cold light of day? I agree with this. Sterling did great and it was a pin point cross, but are many times a high cross from the byline gets headed away just as easily. The same could be said about Rodri's goal. Great goal, but you don't rely on those going in all the time. Good crosses can be achieved in different ways.Did it really though, in the cold light of day? Just thank him for his service, i couldn't really give a fcuk how he does at ChelseaDo we abuse Sterling with snake emojis when he leaves or wish him well
Not really Aguero has been gone for virtually 2 years, so numbers wise adding Grealish more or less replaced him, Haaland on his own will play more than Torres and Jesus together did, Alvarez and Palmer can cover Sterlings game time. We might replace Sterling if we want more experience I don’t know, but pure numbers wise we’re okay.personally for me, if Raz is joining Chelsea as it seems, we are an attacker down
Haaland replaces Aguero
Alvarez replaces Torres at the time
Jesus gone
Sterling going
Losing those 2 and not replacing them seems like taking a risk to me.... I know we have midfielders and wingers who add goals (Foden, Gundo and Mahrez) but I just feel that we are still light from what we have had in the past few seasons.
Don’t forget, we signed Grealish when many said we didn’t need him. And we also have Cole Palmer coming through. They don’t have Sterling’s attributes obviously, but they do have plenty of their own. I would prefer it if there was someone available now that we like and can afford as a direct, pacy replacement but if not I’m still ok with the squad even if it’s not perfect. We’ll adapt.personally for me, if Raz is joining Chelsea as it seems, we are an attacker down

did you forget he is under contract? if city decided that him leaving was against our interest he will be staying another season. the fact we are ready to let him go without getting a replacement says about how much city rate alvarez.Pep is not willing to let go of sterling though, sterling is just leaving, it is better we don’t start creating false theories here.
In an ideal world, we would have liked to keep Sterling and Jesus but the players feel it is best for a new start and we are getting the most we can for them.
No denying Ben Arfa had talent, but I don’t think he has fulfilled his potential. Both are silky, technical players, but Riyad is better in my opinion."not a view I hold a haten to add."
No it’s a fact not an opinion what planet are some people on haha, Who’s next payet heck let’s just get martial or jack wilshere! No denying Ben Arfa had talent, but I don’t think he has fulfilled his potential. Both are silky, technical players, but Riyad is better in my opinion.
