It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Point is that clubs get fleeced over fees from time to time. It doesn’t mean the player is worth the fee. Ferran is not currently worth what Barca paid. Cucu is not worth £50m plus with 1 good season. Bloom is pulling a levy on us. I understand the points you make re contract and it gives bloom a reason to push for a high fee. Player valuation is not accurate to the quality of said player. We are getting charged essentially because Cucu has a long contract.
I would say its because his 4 years left on his contract, its what Bloom values him at.
Thing is lets say its announced by Bloom that offer £45m and he will go, its up to you, however if it was Utd they would say, actually we know u want £45m but we think hes worth more so here we will offer you £60m. If only we could sale all our players to Utd

Both Dortmund and Bayern are interested as well.

As much as I know Bayern asked for him but with the sums wanted did not really go after him anymore. Bayern's current target - if going after recent media reports - is Borna Sosa from Stuttgart. But I do not know if Bayern really goes after anybody. Davies is so offensive that to have a replacement for him you might even take one of the wingers.

Martin Blackburn from the Sun:
Guardiola has dismissed reports he is after another forward despite allowing both Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling to leave earlier this month.

Umm

How reliable is Blackburn?

A winger will probably not come in until next season.. I think most think that now. Who?
Thats usually how City roll, organically. Wont do anything forced, I dont think this summers overhaul has taken them by surprise really.

Blackburn used to be very reliable I think.

If it's not until next season I want nkunku with that sweet sweet 60mill release clause

Especially if he goes on to have another 50+ g/a season
