it`s written by Pol Ballus who is extremely well connected so it would seem there is something in place.
Yeah can believe that and it doesn’t bother me one bit! What we should do starting next season is give Haaland a new contract extension

Does this report has any legs ?

Haaland team asked this of all the interested clubs, it really isn't the thing it is being made out to be.
He is protecting himself and we have done likewise.
Put it this way, the clause decreasing is moot, once it gets to year four, we have to sell, regardless, unless he has renewed.
He also has exit clauses if we are not in the Champions League for two years, or Uefa have kicked us out again!
City will make him the highest-paid player in the world to keep him here, let's also put it that way ;)
I didn't realise that he is currently Billy no mates.tolmie mentioned that we were planning to offer him one mate as well.
Yep and we know if a player is unhappy/wants to leave then we will let him leave if the buying club meets our valuation. So a release clause is irrelevant.

Hopefully Haaland is not like Mbappe and demands that type of wage to sign a new deal.
Just how CR37 moved the Rags towards different levels, although shortly, or Messi with Barcelona, he will do this with us.I wouldn't care. He admitted last week he wants to earn a shitload of cash in his career, and why not?
We'd be in the very fortunate position to be able to offer him and his dad £50m off the books (if that was our thing) and nobody would be any the wiser.
Straight into the Abu Dhabi National Bank, whilst also paying him a nice wage increase on the books.
Even if he extended by an extra year, we would have him until 2028, he'd be 27/28 (his peak) and we would still be able to demand £200m with 12 months left.
We shouldn't care about the cash. A player like Haaland is a generational talent who can provide his worth in terms of trophies and fans.
*Or at the age of 28 we wire them another £100m to sign another extension.
It's all here for him to become a billionaire by the time he is finished. There is nowhere else he needs to go. He can echo in eternity here and plans change, even if there is a stated intention to try different leagues.
City in five years, with Haaland leading the line, would not be the City of today. It would be a Club with no equal.
Not sure you've thought this through....I wouldn't care. He admitted last week he wants to earn a shitload of cash in his career, and why not?

It's exactly what we have been accused of and has the problem of being in breach of football regs and tax regs if not declared.
Trying proving it!
Neymar got £47m from Qatar at the push of a button.
Haaland camp only has to declare the tax on what they owe, not what they have been paid to the wider public.
We gave Pellegrini a £3m Lowry as a thank you leaving gift.
Apparently he liked Lowry...
Yes, he’ll be here while he’s here he’ll be gone when he’s gone. Nothing we can control so enjoy every minute. When he’s gone 3! Years 5 years 10 years we’ll be fine.hes been here 2 months and people are worried that he might leave, relax and enjoy
Trying proving it you say - well subsequent to the Football Leaks (pre-der speigel) there have been lots of tax cases against players. The Spanish ones spring to mind.
You are advocating City evade employer responsibilities and pay off the books, breaking the law and avoiding NIC.
Then there is cheating with the football authorities. Why would they do that? Note the new proposed FFP regs are also more stringent about it as well.
We know HMRC have been very aggressive with City in the past and with football clubs and players generally. There is no tax break for a £3million leaving gift and City presumably would have paid tax on that in the same way we now know they paid tax on the Mancini "hidden" contract.
Exactly and Spiegel will write new articles because the possibilities being discussed here. Let's hope Bluemoon is not being hacked. A new 2 year ban from CL is on the horizon.Just waiting for the next The Athletic article, followed by a barrage of Youtube videos because of the above.
