19 players for a 18 man matchday squad.

So fully fit (unlikely but possible) and 1 of these is left at home.

Plus: Carson, Phillips, Gomez, McAtee, Bobb to fill in for injuries on the bench, cups and training

Thats a squad of 24 and really thats as big as it needs to be.

Selling Palmer is ok for squad size.
If McAtee also leaves thats also ok.

Phillips out for a genuine option and its perfect but equally we’re still good if we don’t.
