They've been caught on the hop with so many senior players wanting out and weren't prepared to pay the fee's/Wages for their top targets (Bellingham, Rice, Gvaridol)
They didn't think Gundo, Walker or Mahrez were going to go and haven't got anything lined up to replace and they're going to brief they are happy with options when really they just think they'll get better value if they wait till next summer.
