I think our recent pattern with the Academy is going to come back to bite us in the long term - the worlds best young talent have joined us in the past years, and we’ve only given a few (English) youngsters a chance.


Why would any top young foreign player look to join us when we don’t even give them a chance to impress.

isn't the academy going more down the british route these days as most foreign players ran down contract and returned to original clubs
i might be wrong as dont follow youth as much as used to when went to watch them

yeah without question the squad needs filling out abit.

It needs filling out a lot. Lengthy injuries to Rodders or Johnny next season will fuck us. We've also lost a considerable number of goals with Mahrez leaving; entrusting the youth to make that up is risky.
