Lol. There is a huge difference between questioning our strategy nd constantly fucking whinging. Frankly, you along with one or two others fall into the latter categoryAren't you moaning? You continually whinge about others questioning our strategy in this window.
Who would you bring in that's going to sit on the bench and have that kind of quality? A decent right wing signing is going to put Foden on the bench if everyone is fit simply because he's the easiest to drop.I think our lack of options from the bench next season could be a problem, especially in attacking positions. I can only think of Alvarez who we might be able to call upon to try and change a game if we're behind. Palmer, Mcatee too raw to be expected to change things greatly
Does Alvarez not count?Last 18 months we’ve sold 3 forwards/wingers (Ferran, Sterling and Mahrez) and not signed a single replacement (Haaland replaced Jesus
Mcatee is a really good prospect and so is Haywood bellis but doing the business at a championship team getting promoted is a bit different from playing fior the best team in the world and arguably the greatest ever team . They are nowhere near ready yet .Depends on what your expectations are.
I would consider an "extremely successful" loan spell for one of the most talented youth players in the country as more or less starting every game in the Championship (when fit) and being considered as one of the best players in the league. Something like what Harwood-Bellis (born the same year as Palmer and McAtee) did, who was considered as one of the best defenders in the Championship, being nailed on to start every game (when fit) in the best team and best defense in the league.
For me, if anyone had told me last summer that McAtee would only get to start half the Championship games with Sheffield United, and end up being cut from the England u21 Euros squad after the season, I would rather have seen him go on loan to another club where he could have a more important role than thought of it as an "extremely successful" loan spell. But thats just because McAtee is a big talent I have big expectations from. Just like if Palmer would get loaned out to say Burnley this coming season and only start like 15 games, I would certainly not consider that as an "extremely" successful loan either. I still have high hopes of that McAtee could have a future in our club, he is a big talent who I really think can make it here. I just think that an "extremely successful" loan spell for a talent as big as him would be being one of the best players in Sheffield United and in the Championship, not being a squad player there. But like I said, it depends on what your expectations are.
and?According to transfermarket.com we are about 40 in profit this window so far
Just saying we are having a good window on the selling side don’t think we have a problem with incoming yet. Confident we will be much happier with the window once it’s overand?
